I have to say my Valentine’s Day had a pretty good start. I was greeted with an awesome breakfast feast. I’m not really good at shooting food porn, so here is an awkwardly cropped image of the table.

The whole week has been pretty warm in Melbourne, so we visited the beach multiple times when the sun went down. I took some photos which I thought were interesting. I know you might be bored seeing beach photos, hopefully you will see something different here.
I wished the cloud could have given us some rain, but it didn’t happen. |
I find the sea is much sexier when it’s mysterious and dark. |
In the spirit of love, a fan page of IAMX, IAMXart, is doing a fan art competition. The judge suppose to start when IAMX hits 100k likes, and that moment happened on Valentine’s Day! (How appropriate!) Janine and Alberto from the band will be the judges. I was invited to sponsor the competition by giving away a signed print of Rose boy for the winner. The rose boy print is a limited edition of 50, and the sale will start on 11am 22 Feb 2013 (GMT +11:00), and it will be available for 7 days only.

A friend is doing an interesting installation project and she asked me to help with her photo shoot. You will probably see me as a cardboard cut out near Northcote, so yeah, stay tuned for the final result.
I was helping a friend with her project in a photo studio, stay tune for Yeok the cardboard cutout! |
Ukulele festival is coming soon and I’m painting a custom ukulele for it, here is a progress shot. The type of ukulele I got is called Pineapple, so I’m just playing with the idea a little bit. More photos to some!
I was surprised to find frankie magazine in the supermarket. Does it mean frankie is now mainstream?! Anyways, all the other magazines were shouting with colour and fiddled into a mess and frankie was just sitting there elegantly looking at me. I have to say frankie is such a bold statement in such messy material world.
