Holiday nonsense, group show, Chris corner painting

The only cool thing in the entire Chadstone shopping center during the holiday, Monkey King by Lisa Roet in Saxony store

Thanks to the holiday nonsense, I have been quiet for the last few weeks. A lot of eating, drinking, beach going, late night, so much that I start to miss my good old daily routine, home cooked food and body clock.

This gingerbread man pretty much sum up how I felt during holiday.

The good part of it was, I had a chance to do a lot of nothing, my brain was cleared, and hopefully it doesn’t get jam packed the moment I get back to work.

Working in progress of two bears

We have got some last minute group show entering as well, a sweet bear and a wounded bear for Toy to the World Project. These bears will be auctioned to support HIV research. Not a bad start for my 2013.

We were at the Greyhound Hotel one night and I saw some beautiful men with beautiful costumes. I was blowed away. My husband once argue, men are prettier than women if we are judged by aliens, because most male animals look flashier than female companions. I didn’t agree with him until I saw the show. Damn right men can be pretty.

Feed some kangaroos

New year is already here. I’m a little over whelmed by so many new plans I have for 2013. But then I realise the weather is going to be warm only for few more months, I should totally take advantage of that and do everything I desire before I have to shut myself into hibernation and indoor productivity.

Chris Corner as the rose boy

One last thing that excite me a lot this year, I will finally go to IAMX’s gig, meet Chris Corner, give him my painting, while I’m traveling in europe. As you can see, I have only started the painting, there will be loads of details to be done.

Hope you have a dreamy and beautiful 2013.
