Eternal heartache
Eternal Heartache, Acrylic on panel, 79 x 60 cm, 4 Apr 2014
Lost of a loved one, forbidden love, or pain that can not be cured. Is physical pain better than heartache? Or vice versa? There is a tree standing in the middle of the ocean. To ease the pain of her heartache, she let the tree grow around her, and expose herself to sunshine. But that’s not enough, she felt. A crow brings water to keep her alive, and she let him consume her heart to keep him alive, day after day.
