ART WALK 8

— Every week, I spend one day exploring new art shows around town. The shows are hand picked by myself so it’s a personal taste and connections, so it’s not a comprehensive list of any sort. If you are into similar type of art, then it will be most helpful to you as a guide around Melbourne and other places I visit. Here you will find a list of all latest art walk posts

Alright, apology that this post has taken 5 days longer than it should, but I just had probably the busiest second half of a week in my entire year 2013, and I’d glad that I survived it without sleepless nights and too much stress. I mean my favourate musician is in the hospital right now for that reason, I have to learn something from him, good or bad.

Lunch at Beatbox Kitchen

First stop wasn’t exactly an artistic one, but I can perhaps bribe you with an image of their truck?

I have heard a lot about Beatbox Kitchen, and I have finally witnessed their awesome burger:

I mean look at the leaf, look at the tomato slice, look at the shroom cap! (Yeah I love their shroom burger), it’s almost ready for a photo shoot!

Off the kerb gallery: Andrew Laba, Saar Amptmeijer & Pia Mitchell

The new round of shows in Off the kerb gallery were refreshing, with two vector artists and one installation work.

GSPF The Opening Night Party at Gertrudes Brown Couch (Warnings: 80s Real Hot Bitches will take over your screen)

I had no clue what I was getting into until I saw this. At that point I just felt lucky that I’m on a brown couch enough to support my limited height for this awesomeness without blocking people behind me.

Great times!
