Cliff Maddox was introduced to Botanical Art with Plant Life Classes while attending the National Art School at East Sydney Tech. in the late 60's. His career path however was in Garden Design & Property Development . Following a couple of weekend workshops with Gillian Scott at Tamborine Mountain in 1997 he undertook a one year course in Botanical Art with Margaret Saul at Mount Cootha Gardens , Brisbane in 1998 . He has exhibited in Brisbane with The Botanical Artists Society of Queensland since then , The Botanical Art Society of Australia from 2003 and The Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition 2010 & 2012 . His work is held in Private Collections in Australia , Europe & Asia .
