Beverley Lewis

Born in Western Victoria, Beverley’s interest in plants started at university and was rekindled in the past decade through drawing and painting. Quirky or unusual plants hold particular attraction. Her media of choice are graphite pencil, pen and ink and watercolour. Beverley has successfully exhibited at “The Art of Botanical Illustration” since 2006. The Royal Botanic Gardens purchased three graphite works at TABI exhibitions for the State Botanical Collection: Strelitzia nicolai in 2008; Acacia melanoxylon in 2010 and Callistemon linearis in 2012.
