I am an illustrator and graphic designer and discovered the world of botanical art in late 2010. The discipline of botanical illustration suits my painting style perfectly because I love detail. My paintings are executed in watercolour which, I find, is the best medium to convey the freshness and clarity of my subject. Painting makes me happy, it makes me content, it keeps me sane. Australian Geographic magazine is one of my clients – I produce double page spreads on various botanical subjects as well as posters. My botanical illustrations are featured in the 2015 Australian Geographic Art Calendar.
