Liene Drulle has Degree in Applied Science(Swinburne University , Melbourne) and achieved Distinctions in Environmental Health. Liene has grown up in the Macedon Ranges exploring the natural beauty and rich diversity of local indigenous and rare plants from bountiful private gardens. Liene has always been passionate about illustrating , discovering and expressing her art through a wide variety of mediums. From 2008-2013 Liene attended Art Classes in Woodend where she was guided and inspired by Anita Barley. It was in this dynamic environment which ignited the love to illustrate and paint plants with incredible detail and scientific accuracy. Liene has also attended Workshops with John Pastoriza-Pinol, Agathe Haevermans (Illustrator ,National Museum of Natural History, Paris France)and more recently Classes at the Botanical Art School (Melbourne) with Jenny Phillips. Liene continues painting at the Mt Macedon Horticultural Society with Kate Nolan.
