I have finally started working on some new pieces after cooking up the concept for more than 2 weeks. I just wanted it to be a thought through body of work rather than random pieces. This time I start it off with a sculpture, with the help of Gihan.

As you may have noticed, I have got a DSLR, that means my photos will now look less crappy. It took ages for me to justify this purchase and I’m glad I have finally made it! Here is the first photo I took: Gihan playing with ukulele (The ukulele I’m going to paint for Melbourne Ukulele Fesitival)

Rose boy is going on for a printing treatment and it will be available for a time limited release shortly. This will be the first ever print release for me, so very excited to see how it goes. (sign up here if you are interested)

I had a walk around all day last Saturday, and the contemporary photography show at NGV is something worth going for. It wan’t big but I really enjoyed the collection of artworks they have on show. It really inspired me again to do more photography. (Sorry about this photo, you will find a better photo here.

Love “The drummer” by Loretta LUX.

Until next time, my love.
